Geneva died February 22, 1998 in Milledgeville, Baldwin Co., GA. OBIT: Claire Allgood Nunn, 58, of 393 Ashton Drive, died Sunday, Feb. 22,1998. A native of Clarke County, Mrs. Nunn was a daughter of Louise Norman Allgood of Athens and the late Alvin Thomas Allgood. She was a former employee of the University of Georgia and Farmers Hardware. She was a member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church and the Mary and Martha Sunday School Class. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Prince Avenue Baptist Church with the Revs. Bill Ricketts and Howard Greer. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, Jere G. Nunn; four children, Kimily C. Brannon and Robert G. Brannon, both of Watkinsville, and Michael D. Nunn and Karen S. Nunn, both of Bogart; a brother, Norman Y. Allgood, Athens; two grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Dwight Neal, Ron Weldon, Marvin Doster, Olan Miller, Doug Waddell, Robert Stephens, Robert Turner, Cecil Smith, Dwayne Chambers and Marvin Adams. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. today at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home West, Bogart. Memorials may be made to the Prince Avenue Baptist Church Building Fund or St. Mary's Hospice.
