She married twice. She married Clarence Roberts. Clarence was born October 19 1921 in Picayune, Pearl River Co., MS. Clarence was the son of John Phillip Roberts JR and Doshia Strahan. Clarence died July 27, 2010 in Laura, Miami Co., OH. OBIT: Clarence age 88 of Laura, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born on October 19, 1921 in Picayune, MS to John and Doshia (Strahan) Roberts. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jewel (McKenzie) Roberts; grandson, Jeffrey Wolfe; and brothers, Oliver and Donald Roberts. He is survived by his daughter and son-and-law, Janice and Joe Steinbrugge- Dayton; grandchildren, Lisa Wolfe and Christopher and Lisa Wolfe; great-grandchildren Jenna and Hannah Wolfe; and sister May Landon-Xenia. Clarence served his country in the Air Force during World War II. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 31st at Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Rev. Bill Cornett will officiate with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery, West Milton.
