David died June 11, 2002 in Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY. OBIT: David Lee Huffines, 66, of Louisville died there Tuesday, June 11, 2002, at Norton Audubon Hospital. The Breckinridge County native retired from Standard Cartons in Louisville as a press operator. Survivors include a son, David Wayne Huffines of Louisville; four daughters, Sherry Gaylor of Hamstad, N.C., Charlotte Bailey of Knoxville, Tenn., and Peggy Hardin and Debbie Brown, both of Louisville; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Huffines of Irvington; and a sister, Christine Priest of Hardinsburg. Services are at 11 a.m. Friday at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg. Burial will be in Custer Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 8:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Louisville.
