Helen Marie10 Stone (Minnie Hazel9 Willingham, Susie8 Allgood, Charles A.7, Charles B.6, Edward5, William4 Algood, Edward3 Allgood, William2, Edward1 Algood) was born in Henderson Co., KY May 3, 1926. Helen died September 1, 2009 in Brementon, Kitsap Co., WA. OBIT: Helen was born and raised in Henderson, Kentucky where she met her husband Ira Pritchett (Pritch) of nearly 62 years before he passed in 2003. They were married on May 2, 1941.
The Marine Corps brought them to Bremerton in 1945 where they made their home and raised their three children, Linda, Cyndi and Phillip. Helen and Pritch opened Pritch's Hamburger Heaven in 1951 and later built and opened the Arista Restaurant on Wheaton Way in 1966. Helen and Pritch entered a well-deserved retirement in 1971.
Helen also known as Nana to her six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, was a loving mother and homemaker and will be deeply missed by us all.
She is survived by daughters, Linda & Orville White of Seabeck and Cyndi & Charlie Keser of Puyallup; son, Phillip & Jenny Pritchett of Mukilteo; 6 grandchildren, Mathew White, Michelle Borcherding, Beau Matzak, Kyle, Adam, and Blake Pritchett; 4 great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jordon, and Chad Borcherding, and Ellie Reese Matzak; niece, Vicki Mullins and nephew, Michael Mullins, both of Henderson, KY.
She married Ira Pritchett May 2, 1941. Ira was born June 28, 1923 in Pendleton Co., KY. Ira died February 14, 2003 in Bremerton, Kitsap Co., WA.
Helen Marie Stone and Ira Pritchett had the following children:
