He married Catherine (Katie) Kelly June 22,1893 in Sangamon Co., IL. Catherine was born August 1877 in Pope Co., IL. After John's death Katie married Fred Righter, of Sprinfield, Sanganon Co., IL
George W. Allgood and Catherine (Katie) Kelly had the following children:

Anna Marie Allgood was born in Johnsonville, Wayne Co., IL August 1,1898. 4471 iii. Frank Allgood was born in Pope Co., IL 1902. At the time of the 1930 and 1940 census, Frank was an inmate at the iLLinion State prision.
