Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late John William Allgood and Lillie Pearl Currin Allgood.
She was the widow of Frank Wyche Ellis.
Mrs. Ellis was a member of Poplar Creek Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife and mother.
