Born May 1, 1930, in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Rullie Zimmerman and Ruhama (Harmon) Zimmerman and was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Tillman B. Tolleson, Jr.
Mrs. Tolleson was a 1949 graduate of Roebuck High School where she was a member of the cheerleading squad and voted most valuable player of the women's basketball team, a homemaker, and a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church, Georgetown, IN.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Wilder and her husband, Jim, of Charlotte, NC and Deborah Laney and her husband, Eddie, of Pineville, NC; a son, Curtis Tolleson and his wife, Mary Lou, of Waxhaw, NC; a brother, Darcy Zimmerman of Spartanburg; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
