She married Wade Hampton Mosley December 25,1880 in Franklin Co., NC. Wade was born January 4, 1871. Wade was the son of James Roger Mosley and Anne Mary Elizabeth Darnell Turner. Wade died August 24, 1951.
Josephine Battle Smith and Wade Hampton Mosley had the following children:
1793 i. Narcissa Josephine8 Mosley was born November 18, 1891.
1794 ii. Mary Elizabeth. Ann Mosley was born March 10, 1894.
