She married Hobert Lee Snow. Hobert was born June 21, 1920 in Hanes, Forsyth Co., NC. Hobert was the son of Walter Bryant SNow and Manda L Hawks. Hobert died June 20, 2003 in Mocksville, Davie Co., NC. OBIT: The Rev. Hobert Lee Snow, 82, of Autumn Care Nursing Home, Mocksville, formerly of 307 Upton St., Winston-Salem died June 20, 2003.
He was born June 21, 1920, in Forsyth County to Walter Bryant and Mandy Hawks Snow.
He was a pastor of Church of God of Prophecy until his retirement. He had also at one time served as district overseer for the church.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Lillian Hutchins Snow; a sister, Ruby Carlton; a brother, Dewey Snow; and a granddaughter, Tammy Louise Snow.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Snow of Mocksville and Thomas A. Snow of Fayetteville; a daughter, Barbara Jean Whitley of Kenley; two sisters, Inez Robbins and Ila Mae Wagoner, both of Winston-Salem; a brother, Coy Snow of Wilmington, Del.; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2003, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Shinault and the Rev. Lee Glover officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 this evening at the funeral home.
