30963 ii. Malinda Frances Ramsey was born December 19,1943. Malinda died July 20, 2013. OBIT: Malinda Frances Stone died in her home on Saturday, July 20, at the age of 69. Born December 19, 1943 in Barksdale Field, Louisiana, Malinda moved to Killeen in 1960. She was a very creative person, accomplished in oil painting, water colors, crocheting, knitting and many more forms of arts and crafts. Malinda enjoyed teaching these skills to family and friends. She is survived by her children, Jackie Blackwell, Walter Blackwell, David Stone, Reneé Dixon and Michelle Stone, her sisters Ellen Stratton and Annalou LeFevre, her brother Henry Ramsey, 10 grandchildren, 3 great- grandchildren, 6 nieces, 2 nephews, and many other children who loved her dearly, all of whom she considered her own. An outdoor memorial service for Malinda?s family and friends will be held at 9:00 AM on Sunday, August 4, in the pavilion at Belton Lake Park at 2782 FM 439 in Belton, with Lisa Stratton officiating. Please dress comfortably, keeping the heat in mind. Interment will be at 9:00 AM on Monday, August 5 at Central Texas Veteran?s Cemetery at 11463 State Hwy 195 in Killeen, with Chaplin Galen Bond officiating. Malinda?s remains will rest beside her husband?s, George C. Stone, who preceded her in death in 2008. She married George C. Stone August 18, 1969 in Lampasas Co., TX.
George was born July 16, 1919 in Enfield, Hartford Co., CT. George died March 1, 2008 in Killeen, Bell Co., TX.
