Opal died January 2, 2005 in Amarillo, Randall Co., TX. OBIT: Opal Marie Brown, 74, of Amarillo, formerly of Borger, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Franklin Street Church of God with the Rev. L.K. Lawley officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Brown was born Dec. 10, 1930, in Megargel. She married Alfred Brown on April 12, 1947, in Borger.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Rhonda Brown of Amarillo; three brothers, David Dennis of Borger, and Tommy Dennis and Bobby Dennis, both of Fritch; and a sister, Sarah Hopkins of Borger.

Opal Marie Dennis and Alfred Brown had the following child:
