7889. Esther M.¹⁰ Osborn (Sarah J.⁹ Allgood, Charles Franklin.⁸, George Wade⁷, Charles B.⁶, Edward⁵, William⁴ Algood, Edward³ Allgood, William², Edward¹ Algood) was born in Hamburg, Fremont Co. IA April 8, 1928. Esther died April 25,2012 in Waverly, Lancaster Co., NE. OBIT:Esther M. (Osborn) Collins, 84, of Hamburg, died April 25, 2012 at the Waverly Care Center in Waverly, Neb. She was born on April 8, 1928 at Hamburg to W. E. “Webb” and Sarah Jane (Allgood) Osborn. She married Bennie Merrill Collins on Sept. 1, 1945 at Hiawatha, Kan. He preceded her Feb. 20, 2011.

Esther worked at Grape Community Hospital in Hamburg in the housekeeping department for 15 years. She enjoyed playing bingo at the Washington Park Plaza and the Waverly Care Center.

She is survived by her three children: Michael Wayne Collins and Shelley of Lincoln, Neb., Judith Ann Gonzalez of Mt. Pleasant, and Theresa Rae Willey and husband Mark of Olds, Iowa; six grandchildren: Sue, Michaela, Kara, Tonya, Kegan and Cody; 14 great-grandchildren; sister Virginia Lynn and husband Virgil of Hamburg; sister-in-law Phyllis Collins of Nebraska City; brother-in-law Everett Collins of Council Bluffs; numerous nieces and nephews, other family and friends including Ed and Shirley Collins.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded by grandson Todd Collins, sister Betty Clayton and her parents.

Funeral services were April 30 at Rash-Gude Funeral Home in Hamburg with Rev. Tom Beutler officiating. Burial will follow in the Hamburg Cemetery.

She married Bennie Merrill Collins. Bennie was born July 18,1927 in Watson, Atchison Co., MO. Bennie died February 20, 2011 in Sidney, Fremont Co., IA.

Esther M. Osborn and Bennie Merrill Collins had the following children:
