Richard died Janaury 9, 2013 in Lincoln, Lancaster Co., NE. OBIT: Richard "Rick" C. Allgood III, age 69, of Lincoln, passed away on Jan. 9, 2013. He was born on Jan. 29, 1943 in Lincoln to Richard Jr. and Velma Allgood. Rick was an avid outdoorsman, who loved fishing, hunting, and was known as "Backroads Rick". He served in the U.S. Navy and was a proud Vietnam veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughters, Cara (Brandon) Lemburg of Grand Island, Donna (Rocky) Fleming of Lincoln, and Becky Johnson of Lincoln; sons, Samuel (Lori) Allgood of Duluth, Minn., and Jeff (Jennifer) Beckman of Lincoln; brother, Jim (Joyce) Allgood of Lincoln; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and two close cousins, Cathy and Carol. Rick is preceded in death by his parents.
