Eleanor died January 29, 2008 in Springfield, Sangamon Co., IL. OBIT: Eleanor "Sunny" A. Green, 67, a lifelong resident of Springfield, died at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008, at Memorial Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 28, 1940, in Springfield, the daughter of Otis and Eleanor Allgood Green. Her parents preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and attended Christ Lutheran Church in Quincy. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.
Surviving are a daughter, Tricia (husband, David) Santos of Quincy; son, Tom (wife, Violet) Spaulding of Springfield; six grandchildren, Bryce Spaulding, Sunshine, Summer, Savana, Sami and Skylar Santos; and two sisters, Ila Reynolds of Springfield and Lois (husband, Leo) Beals of Oregon.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, at Luther Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2600 S. Fifth St., with Pastor Paul Schwartzkopf officiating.
She married Ralph Knowles Spaulding JR. Ralph was born October 22, 1939 in Springfield, Sangamon Co., IL. Ralph was the son of Ralph Knowles Spaulding and Frances Neat. Ralph died August 8, 2010 in St Petersburg, Hillsborough Co., FL. At the time of his death he was married to Catherine Riddleberger . Ralph was buried in the cemetery in Bushnell, Sumte Co., FL
Eleanor A (Sunny) Green and Ralph Knowles Spaulding JR had the following children:
