Fannie died December 31, 1998 in Elbert Co., GA. OBIT: Fannie B. Allgood Lesseur, 98, of 2466 Calhoun Falls Highway., Elberton, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998. A native of Oglethorpe County, Mrs. Lesseur was the daughter of the late William Allgood and Betty Gunter Allgood. She was the wife of the late Obie Veal Lesseur. She was a member of Bethel "E" Baptist Church in Elberton. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Connie Ivester officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel "E" Baptist Church cemetery in Elberton. Survivors include one daughter, Mildred Jedrezak of Stone Mountain; one son, Millard Lesseur of Elberton; two sisters, Louise Berryman of Carlton and Pearl Ware of Los Angeles; one granddaughter, two great-grandsons and one sister-in-law. The family is at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Millard Lesseur, 2466 Calhoun Falls Highway.
She married Obie Veal Lesseur 1921. Obie was born November 16, 1900 in Olgethorpe Co., GA. Obie died July 1, 1959 in Elbert Co., GA.
