Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, at 3 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Aaron Tripp and the Rev. Tammy Ayscue. A private burial will be held in the church cemetery..
Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Johnnie Lee Woodard; two daughters, Sonia Denise Woodard of the home and Lisa W. Hawkins and husband, Mike, of Dover, Del.; a son, Michael Puckett and wife, Amanda, of Henderson; a brother, Walter Samuel Burgess and wife, Charlotte, of Epsom; a sister-in-law, Shirley Woodard of Johnson City, Tenn.; and her best friend, Agnes Woodlief and husband, R.O., of Epsom..
