He married Ellen Toni Brown Decembe 21,1880. Ellen was born July 6, 1856 in NC. Ellen was the daughter of John H. Brown and Nancy Blann Beckham. Ellen died January 4,1922 in Franklin Co., NC.

George Henry Medlin and Ellen Toni Brown had the following children:

 1735 i. Arthur Abner⁸ Medlin was born November 2, 1883.

 1736 ii. Rosa Jeffreys Medlin was born February 19,1886.

 1737 iii. Nora Kenneth Medlin was born Janaury 30,1889.

 1738 iv. Walter Cleveland Medlin was born April 14, 1895.
