Claire died February 3, 2001 in Burkeville, Nottoway Co., VA. OBIT: Mrs. Claire Dodson Bradshaw, 76, of Burkeville, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 3, 2001. She was an owner and officer of Bradshaw Ford, Inc., where she worked for over 40 years until just prior to her death. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie D. Bradshaw. She is survived by her daughter, Linda B. Gragnani and her husband, Otto; her daughter, Patricia B. Bullock; her son, Charlie David Bradshaw Jr. (Chuck) and his wife, Betsy; her seven grandchildren, Carmen Gragnani, Jay Gragnani, Jennifer Perreault, Stacie Bullock, Lucy Bradshaw, Harper Bradshaw and Anne Bradshaw; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Clarke Bradshaw, Mr. and Mrs. James E. Bradshaw, Mrs. John O. Bradshaw and Mrs. Margery Dodson Turner. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 6, at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Burkeville. The family will receive friends at the Jennings-McMillian Funeral Home in Crewe on Monday, February 5, from 6 to 8 p.m.

She married Charlie Davis Bradshaw 1946. Charlie was born February 6, 1925. Charlie was the son of JamesLeroy Bradshaw and Maude N. (___). Charlie died October 5, 1988.

Claire Carmen Dodson and Charlie Davis Bradshaw had the following children:
