He married Florence Ellen Hedgepeth February ;2, 1951 in Vance Co., NC. Florence was born September 7,1929 in Franklin Co., NC. Florence was the daughter of Judson Rembert Hedgepeth and Augusta Strckland. Florence died June 11, 2013 in Franklin Co., NC. OBIT: Ellen Hedgepeth Winn, 83, of the Epsom community, died Tuesday evening. Mrs. Winn was a daughter of the late, Rembert and Gussie Hedgepeth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Winn, Sr. and her brother, Charles Hedgepeth. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Liberty Christian Church Cemetery with Dr. Carolyn Roy officating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Mrs. Winn is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Rick Edwards of Epsom; son and daughter-in-law, Frankie and Stacey Winn of Raleigh; twin sister, Helen Wilson of Epsom; sister, Isabelle Kennerson of Montville, CT; grandchildren, Kris Edwards and Tim Edwards; Melissa Hobby and husband, James; Justin Winn and Melina Winn; great-granddaughter, Natalie Hobby.
