Juluis died March 2, 2001 in Henderson, Vance Co., NC. OBIT: Julius Wheeler “J.W.” Stainback, age 69, a resident of 744 Tollie Weldon Road, died Friday at his home. He was a native of Franklin County and was the son of the late Jack Franklin and Mary Elizabeth Goodson Stainback. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, having served during the Korean War. He was a former member of the New Bethel Baptist Church and a member of the Midway Baptist Church in Plant City, Fla., and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Funeral services will be held today at 11 a.m. in the J.M. White Funeral Home Chapel by President Keith Abbott. Burial will follow in the Liberty-Vance United Church Of Christ Cemetery. He is survived by one son, Anthony Keith Stainback of Lakeland, Fla.; one daughter, Julie Charlene Kennedy of Mulberry, Fla.; three sisters, Louise Fuller of Louisburg, Ruth Tharrington of Raleigh, and Shirley Pace of Henderson; one brother, Alton O. Stainback of Henderson; and seven granddaughters.
