Walter died April 21, 2005 in Epsom, Franklin Co., NC. Obit; Walter Joseph Renn, Sr., 79, of 8020 NC Hwy 39 South, in the Epsom Community, died Thursday, April 21, 2005, at his home. Mr. Renn was a member of Liberty Christian Church, a retired Tobacco Farmer, a former member of the Epsom Lions Club and a World War II Navy veteran. Surviving are his wife, Henrietta Hayes Renn; two daughters, Cynthia R. Stevenson and Mattie R. May; a son, Walter Joseph Renn Jr.; two sisters, Eris R. Lindsey and Betsy Paige R. Edwards; and two brothers, Alridge Renn and Ronald Renn. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Liberty Christian Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
