Keith died November 12, 2011. OBIT: Keith Allen Smith, 37, of Locust, NC, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2011.

Mr. Smith was born May 14, 1974 in Cabarrus County to the late Boyce James "Danny" Smith and Sandra Kay Hartsell Smith McIntyre of Midland. He was also preceded in death by his grandfather, Billy Joe Hartsell.

The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 16, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, at Branchview First Church of God in Concord. Rev. Carlton Davidson and Rev. Dr. Kinney Wallace will officiate.

At other times, the family will meet at his grandmother's home, Juanita Hartsell, at 209 Summit Street, Locust, NC.

Survivors include his son, Kaiden Allen Smith, of Kannapolis; his mother, Sandra McIntyre and husband, Thomas, of Locust; his brothers, Chris Smith and wife, Christine, of Oakboro and Steven Smith and wife, Melissa, of Locust; his grandmothers, Leora Furr and Juanita Hartsell, both of Locust; his nephews, Trevor Smith of Oakboro and Hunter Smith of Locust; and his niece, Riley Smith, of Locust.

Keith Allen Smith had the following child:

 45947 i. Kaiden Allen¹² Smith (living).
