Annie died April 21, 2010 in Douglas, Coffee Co., GA. OBIT: Mrs. Annie Frances Moorman, age 95, Douglas, GA, passed away at Summers Landing on Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Mrs. Moorman was a college professor with South Georgia College for many years and was very active in the community. She was born on May 14, 1914 to the late Thomas Alvin and Willie Jane Allgood Clower and was the widow of Guy Whitley Moorman, Sr.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Methodist Church with interment in the Douglas City Cemetery.
Survivors include: sons: Dr. Guy (Jeanette) Whitley Moorman, Jr., Douglas, GA, Thomas (Danielle) William Moorman, Conyers, GA; daughter: Jane (Ron) Moorman Dennis, Charlotte, NC; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She married Guy Whitley Moorman. Guy was born January 28, 1914. Guy was the son of Ivy William Mooreman and Eliza Vickers. Guy died December 4, 1967 in Douglas, Coffee Co., GA.
Annie Frances Clower and Guy Whitley Moorman had the following children:
