Thomas died April 21, 2014 in Elberton, Elbert Co., GA. OBIT: Mr. Thomas Milford Algood, 84, of Elberton, Georgia passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 at his home.
Mr. Algood was the son of the late Thomas Hoyt and Jewell Jones Algood. He was the husband of Patricia Algood, and was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Mr. Algood is survived by his wife, Patricia; two daughters: Brittany Cantrell (Ronny), and Denia Massey; two sons: Tony Massey and Russell Massey; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Curtis Algood (Sandra); a sister, Margaret Pitts (Bobby); and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Algood was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Moon.
A service to celebrate Mr. Algood’s life was held Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in The Chapel of Hicks Funeral Home, Elberton. A time of visitation began at 2:00 p.m. just prior to the service.
