Mrs. Catherine Campbell Satterfield is survived by: One daughter, Nancy Elliott and husband Paul of Clarksville One Grandson, Christopher Elliott and wife Susan of Halifax One Granddaughter, Cynthia Knott and husband Ben of Clarksville Four Great Grandchildren, Jacob and Emilee Elliott of Halifax and Ashlyn and Caleb Knott of Clarksville.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Catherine Campbell Satterfield will be held Tuesday, February 11th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Doug Gibson officiating. Burial will be in the Virgilina Cemetery.
She married Edwarad Rufus Satterfield. Edwarad was born April 23,1928 in Halifax Co., VA. Edwarad was the son of Edward Osborne Satterfield and Hallie Tuck. Edwarad died October 24, 2007 in Halifax Co., VA. OBIT: Mr. Edward Rufus Satterfield, 79, of 1075 Fordland Drive, Halifax died Thursday, October 4, 2007 at his home. He was born in Halifax County on April 23, 1928, a son of the late Edward Osborne Satterfield and Hallie Tuck Satterfield and was married to Catherine Campbell Satterfield. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Nancy S. Elliott and husband Paul of Clarksville; two grandchildren, Christopher P. Elliott and wife Susan, Cynthia E. Knott and husband Ben; four great-grandchildren, Jacob C. Elliott, Emilee C. Elliott, Ashlyn Knott, Caleb Knott; two brothers, Bruce Satterfield of Halifax and James Satterfield of Mechanicsville; one sister, Angie S. Williams of Spruce Pines, NC. Funeral services were held Saturday, October 6 at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Jeaux (Jo) Simmons officiating. Burial followed in Virgilina Cemetery.
