Virgil died June 27, 1986. OBIT: Funeral services were held Friday, June 27, in Preston Funeral Home Chapel for Virgil B. McKenzie, 69. Mr. McKenzie died Tuesday, June 24, in Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center. He was born August 11, 1916, in Johnson County, the son of FOREST LEE and MARY LOU CRACE McKENZIE. He was a resident of Offutt at the time of his death. Surviving are his wife, Betty Mosley McKenzie; 2 sons, Wendell McKenzie, Volga, and Eddie McKenzie, Louisville; three daughters, Ellen Jean Stidham, Hayden, Reda Vern Stapleton, Volga, and Shirlene Rowland, Fairborn, OH; one brother, Everett McKenzie, Flat Gap; one sister, Mae Williams, Flat Gap, and 5 grandchildren. Bruce Daniel officiated at services with burial in the family cemetery at Volga.

He married Bettly Mosley.
