Margaret died October 26, 2012 in Crisp Co., NC. OBIT: Funeral services for Margaret D. Jones will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of the service. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones, 88, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at Crisp Regional Hospital. Mrs. Jones was born in Henderson, N.C. to the late Clifton Malone Dickerson and the late Alma Edwards Dickerson. She was a retired theater manager for Martin Theaters and a member of First Baptist Church of Cordele. She was preceded in death by her husband Maurice Paul Jones, brother, William Dickerson and a grandchild Deborah Tatum.
She is survived by her son: Paul (Sheila) Jones of Unadilla, GA.; daughters: Frances Jones Tatum of Sulfolk, VA. and Deborah (Jeff) Jones of Cartersville, GA.; Brother: Claude Dickerson of VA.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She married Maurice Paul Jones. Maurice was born April 23, 19023 in Henderson, Vance Co., NC. Maurice was the son of William H. Jones and Lessie Ayscue. Maurice died January 14, 1989 in Henderson, Vance Co., NC.
Margaret Frances Dickerson and Maurice Paul Jones had the following children:
