She married Orville Robert Price June 27, 1943 in Oskaloosa, Mahaska Co., IA. Orville was born July 1, 1923 in Mahaska Co., IA. Orville was the son of Orville Ernest Price and Hazel Henrietta Wood. Orville died February 2, 2007 in Toledo, IA. OBIT: Orville “Bob” Price, age 83, of Toledo, died on Friday, February 2, 2007 in his home in Toledo under the care of Iowa River Hospice due to a lengthy illness. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at 10:30 AM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama with Pastor Herbert J. Knudten officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo. Visitation will be held Monday, February 5, 2007 from 4 to 7 PM at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Orville Robert Price was born on July 1, 1923 in Mahaska County near Oskaloosa, Iowa, the son of Orville Ernest and Hazel Henrietta (Wood) Price. Bob served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army. On June 27, 1943, he was united in marriage to Maxine Lenox in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Bob farmed for two years in the Eddyville, Iowa area and then was a heavy equipment operator in the southern Iowa coal mines. He then farmed for nine years near Oskaloosa and New Sharon until 1963 when they moved northeast of Toledo and continued to farm another thirty-one years. After retiring in 1995, they moved to Toledo. Bob also worked for Scharnwebers and S&S Car Wash in Toledo. He was a member of the Reinig-Fredrich Post #72 American Legion and a charter member of the Old Time Power Show in Toledo. As a hobby, he also enjoyed woodworking. Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Maxine in 2001; and one brother, Howard in 1938. Survivors include two sons, Alvin (Patty) Price of Tama and Melvin Price of Beaumont, Texas; two brothers, Jack (Gretchen) Price of Pleasant View, Utah and Ronald (Dorothy) Price of Peoria, Illinois; three sisters, Mary Lee (Arthur) Ritter of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Linda (Mark) Surbrook of Buffalo, New York, and Carol (Charlie) Harton of Kansas City, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Rusty, Lonnie, Ryan, Brian, Brad, Chrissy and Jesse; twelve great-grandchildren; a companion, Gert Timm of Toledo; and many nieces and nephews.

Maxine Lenox and Orville Robert Price had the following children:
