15712 ii. Eugene King Hicks was born in TN August 28,1923. Eugene died February 18,1997 in Madisonville, Monroe Co., TN. He married Johnnie Wilkerson Stiles. Johnnie was born July 13, 1921. Johnnie was the daughter of John Wilkerson and Rossie (___). Johnnie died June 25, 2006 in Knoxville, Knox Co., TN. OBIT: Johnnie W. Stiles Hicks of Madisonville, passed away at 3 p.m., Sunday, June 25, at UT Medical Center. She was a member of Madisonville Presbyterian Church.She was 84. Preceded in death by: husbands, Shelton Stiles and Eugene Hicks; parents, John and Rossie Wilkerson; sister, Mary Kate Merritt; and brothers, Bob and Arnold Wilkerson. Survivors include: daughters and sons-in-law-Mary and Brit Spann of Greensboro, Ga.; Shelton and Vaughn Belcher of Alcoa; and Colleen Russell of Chattanooga; Son and daughter-in-law-John Stiles and Catherine Carter of Louisville; Eight grandchildren; Several great-grandchildren; Brother-Carl Wilkerson of Rockwood; Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Wednesday, in Biereley-Hale Chapel, with the Rev. G. Kenneth Gates, D.D. and Dr. F. Houston Lowry officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Cemetery
