Whiley died January 2, 2000 in Lubbock, Lubbock Co., TX. OBIT: Services for W.C. "Dub" Mann, 68, of Lubbock will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Vandelia Church of Christ with Doug Hale officiating.
Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
He died on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2000, at Covenant Lakeside Hospital.
He was born on March 24, 1931 in Slaton and attended Slaton schools. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Mary Chancey in Amarillo on March 3, 1951. He owned and operated Dub's Truck Paint and Repair. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and a former member of several area square dance clubs. He was a member of Vandelia Church of Christ and had been a longtime Lubbock area resident.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Sheila Mann of Dallas, Gail Ethridge of Lubbock; two sisters, Cleo Maulden and Jeri Tshudy, both of Lubbock; and three granddaughters.
He married Mary Frances Chancey.
Whiley Charley Mann and Mary Frances Chancey had the following children:
