Dennie died April 2 1972 in Johnson Co., KY. OBIT: Dennie McKenzie, 81, of Staffordsville died Monday, April 2 in the Paintsville Hospital following an extended illness. He was a retired C & O Railroad Employee and was affiliated with the Freewill Baptist church. He was the son of the late George and Edith Lemaster McKenzie. Immediate survivors include his wife, Beechie Blevins McKenzie, four sons, Marvel McKenzie of Staffordsville, Leslie McKenzie of Williamson, WV, Russell McKenzie of Fairborn,OH and Lonnie B. McKenzie of Staffordsville, one daughter, Mrs. Ova Daniel of Dayton,OH, one brother, Clifford McKenzie of flint,MI, and one sister, Mrs. Merlie Witten of Flint,MI.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 5 in the chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home by Claude Preston, Scott Castle and Ellis Hamilton.Burial followed in the Church Cemetery at Staffordsville under direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home. He married twice. He married Lena Beechie Blevins. Lena was born January 6, 1901 in Johnson Co., KY. Lena was the daughter of Elisha Blevins and Lizzie Craft. Lena died February 10, 1993 in Louisa, Lawrence Co., KY. OBIT: Funeral services were held February 13 for Beechie McKenzie, 92,who died February 10 1993 in Humana Hospital-Louisa. Mrs. McKenzie was born January 6, 1901 in Johnson County, the daughter of the late Elisha and Lizzie Craft Blevins. She was a member of the Kerz Enterprise Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband,Dennie McKenzie, in 1972. Surviving are three stepsons, Leslie McKenzie of Williamson, West Virginia, Lonnie McKenzie of Staffordsville and Russell McKenzie of Fairborn, Ohio; one stepdaughter, Sarah Louise Daniel ofSebring, Florida; one brother, Wayne Blevins of Paintsville; and one sister, Shirley King of Staffordsville.
Officiating at services in Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel wasRev. Tobe Wheeler.Burial was in the Church Cemetery at Staffordsville.Pallbearers were Russel Stambaugh, Robbie Stambaugh, David Stambaugh, Monte Blevins, Delano Cochran and Phillip Collins.

He married Ivel May Daniel October 31, 1987 in Johnson Co., KY. Ivel was born July 13, 1910 in Johnson Co., KY. Ivel died October 2, 1989 in Staffordsville, Johnson Co., KY.
14166 ii. Charles Leslie McKenzie was born in Staffordsville, Johnson Co., KY December 12, 1914. Charles died April 15, 2000 in Paintsville, Johnson Co, KY. OBIT: Funeral services were held Monday, May 1, for Leslie McKenzie, 86, who died April 29, 2000 at Mountain Manor Nursing Home. Mr. McKenzie was born December 12, 1913, in Johnson County, to the late Dennie and Virgie Alice Fitch McKenzie. He was retired as general manager of Betsy Ross of Williamson, West Virginia, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Williamson and had been a member of the Masonic Lodge in Williamson for more than 50 years. He was also preceded in death by his stepmother, Beechie Blevins McKenzie of Staffordsville. Surviving are his wife, Helen McKenzie of Williamson; two nephews, Larry McKenzie of Paintsville and Phillip Roger McKenzie of West Liberty; one sister, Louise Daniel of Mt. Carmel, Indiana; two sisters-in-law, Carol Thomas of Paintsville and Lillian McKenzie of Fairborn, Ohio; and well as several other nieces and nephews. Officiating at services at Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel were Revs. Dennie McKenzie and Edward Craft. Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville. He married Helen Thomas.
Helen was born Dcember 12,1915. Helen died September 9,1995.
14167 iii. William Russell Mckenzie was born in Johnson Co., KY Janaury 1, 1916. William died June 29,1996 in Fairborn, Greene Co., OH. He married Lillie May Cantrell. Lillie was born November 19,1913 in Magoffin Co., KY. Lillie was the daughter of Mantz Cantrell and Ollie Charles. Lillie died April 12, 2001 in Fairborn, Greene Co., OH.
14168 iv. Lonnie B. Mckenzie was born in Johnson Co., KY October 17, 1918. Lonnie died Octoer 23, 1994 in Paintsville, Johnson Co, kY. He married Opal Spradlin. Opal was born March 23,1924. Opal died February 21, 1997.
