Dorothy died January 17, 12015 in Palmetto, Fulton Co., GA. OBIT: Dorothy Lewis, of Palmetto, Ga., passed away on January 17, 2015. A service was held in the chapel at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, Rev. Chris Reynolds and Deacon Lamar West officiating. Interment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Tallapoosa, Ga.

Dorothy was survived by her daughters, Lynn Williamson (Danny) of Jackson, Dixie Lee Hulse (Larry) of Jackson, and Angie Nicholson of Jackson; sisters, Marie Glisch of Palmetto and Dixie Owenby (Norris) of Marietta; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceeded in death by her husband William C. Lewis on June 16, 2002 and her parents, Roscoe C. Gladden & Mattie Rilla Brown Gladden

She married William C. Lewis. William was born April 12, 1923 in Rome, Floyd Co., GA. William was the son of Thomas A LEwis and Veronia Moates. William died June 16, 2002 in Clayton Co., GA.

Dorothy Mae Gladden and William C. Lewis had the following children:
