She was born on Jan. 9, 1956, in Evansville, Ind., to Robert and Nadine (Dill) Andre.
She graduated from LaPorte High School in 1974.
She attended Lone Oak Wesleyan Church; and she was involved in HSU, a home school networking group,
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Michael Veach; three children,
Jason (wife, Vanessa) Veach of Jackson, Mich., Tara (husband, Adam) Ritz of Anderson, and Anna Veach of Lapel; one grandson, Andrew Veach; her father, Robert Andre of Culver; two sisters, Bev (husband, Mark) Horstman of Knox and Betty (husband, Dave) Lloyd of Plymouth; one brother, Bob (wife, Deborah) Andre of San Antonio, Texas; a sister-in-law, Darla Andre of LaPorte; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother; a son, Ryan Michael Veach; and a brother, Ken Andre.
A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Dec. 27, 2011, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Bill Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
