Barbara died August 12, 2000 Henrico Co, VA. OBIT: Barbara Sarah Campbell Clark, 57, of Boydton, died Saturday, August 12, 2000. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Linwood C. "Buddy" Clark; two sons and daughters-in-law, Calvin Lee and Jane Price Clark, Dennis Ray and Kathleen Love Clark, all of Boydton; five sisters, Arlene Matthews of Henderson, N.C., Eleanor Flynn of Boydton, Catherine Satterfield of South Boston, Helen Wilson of Sanford, N.C., and Elsie Owen of Chase City; one brother, Arnold Campbell of Chase City; and two grandchildren, Bradley Preston Clark and Ethan Lee Clark. She was predeceased by a grandchild, Aaron Drew Clark. The family will receive friends at Newcomb Allgood Davis Funeral Home, Chase City, on Monday, August 14, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., and where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m.,
She married Linwood Calvin Clark November 19, 1960 in Victoria, Lunenburg Co., VA. Linwood was born March 23,1941 in Lunenburg Co., VA. Linwood was the son of Flavious Fitzhugh Clark and Bessie Caroline Robertson. Linwood died November 21, 2013 in Richmond, Henrico Co., VA. OBIT: Linwood Calvin "Buddy" Clark, 72, of Boydton, VA passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at MCV Hospital in Richmond, VA. Buddy was born on March 23, 1941 in Lunenburg County, VA to the late Flavious and Bessie Clark.
He is predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Barbara Campbell Clark and a grandson, Aaron Drew Clark.
He is survived by his sons, Calvin L. Clark and his wife Jane of Boydton, VA, and Dennis R. Clark and his wife Kathleen of Boydton, VA; his grandsons, Bradley Preston Clark and his wife Heather of South Hill, VA, and Ethan Lee Clark and his wife Kristi of Manassas, VA. He is also survived by his sisters, Rosa Elliott, Mary Skinner, and Louise Hurt and his brother, James Clarke. Buddy was predeceased by a brother, Aubrey Clarke and sisters, Bertha Hudson and Ruth Smith.
Buddy was retired from Burlington Industries of Clarksville.
Barbara Sarah Campbell and Linwood Calvin Clark had the following children:
