Sarah died June 22, 2020 in Boydton, Mecklenburg Co, VA.
She married Tommie Gayle Jones October 17, 1972 in Mecklenberg Co., VA. Tommie was born January 29,1940 in Mecklenberg Co., VA. Tommie was the son of Rufus F Jones and Pearl Lorene Cates. Tommie died February 15, 2011 in Boydton, Mecklenburg Co, VA. OBIT: Tommie Gayle Jones, 71, of Boydton, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Allgood Jones; his mother, Pearl Jones; four daughters, Romano Tassone of Aspers, PA, Michelle Hinkle of Midlothian, Joanna Jones of Boydton, and Angela Fowler of Boydton; two sisters, Loretta Paxton of Mechanicsville, and Phylis Watson of Baskerville; one brother, James Jones of Alpharetta, Ga.; and five grandchildren, Grant Yoder, Brandon Moore, Mitchell Yoder, Sara Moore, and Jesse Moore.
He was a retired Army Veteran.
Graveside services were held on Friday, Feb. 18 at Olive Branch Baptist Church.
