She married Vernon E. Lipscomb June 19,1926 in Bluefield, Meced Co., WV. Vernon was born August 6, 1894 in Stark Co., OH. Vernon was the son of Edward E. Lipscomb and Delia Peck. Vernon died October 11, 1974 in Mansfield, Richland Co., OH. OBIT: Vernon E. Lipscomb, 80, 182 Sturges Ave., died this morning in Mansfield General Hospital following a 10 day illness. Mr. Lipscomb was born August 6, 1894 in Stark County and lived here for the past 40 years. He was an employee of the Phoenix Electric Corp. for 19 years before retiring 10 years ago. He was affiliated with the Park Avenue Baptist Church and a member of the Retmen's Club. Surviving are his wife Mae Collier Lipscomb; one daughter, Mrs. John (Nancy) Troupe of 2121 Haywood Dr.; four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ruby Thayer, of Painesville. Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Wappner Funeral Home in Mansfield by the Rev. Stanley E. Mugridge, pastor of the Park Avenue Baptist Church. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
