11441. Opal¹⁰ Lineback (Walter Lee⁹, Mary Ellen⁸ Allgood, Royal Henry⁷, Joseph Royal⁶, William (Pikey) Henry⁵, William John⁴, Edward³, William², Edward¹ Algood) was born August 21,1922. Opal died August 23, 2012. OBIT: Mrs. Opal Lineback Smith, 89, went home to be with her Lord Tuesday, August 21, 2012.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2012 at Faith Baptist Church with The Reverend Ronald Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Smith was born August 23, 1922 to Walter Lineback, Sr. and Flora Lineback. She was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church until declining health prevented attendance. She was retired from Carolina Fabric and Label. Opal enjoyed golf and was a team member of many bowling leagues. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Elihue "Smitty" Smith, siblings; Walter Lineback, Jr., Edward Lineback, Sr., Mozelle Holt, Raymond Lineback, Doris Newman, and Merlin Lineback.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her son, Stephen Smith, grandson, Matthew Smith, sisters, Evelyn Terry, all of Greensboro, and Mary Ellen Pegram of Spring Lake.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home N. Elm St. and other times at the home of Mrs. Evelyn Terry.

She married Elihue R. Smith. Elihue was born January 18,1918. Elihue died January 4,1987.

Opal Lineback and Elihue R. Smith had the following child:
