He married Elizabeth Ann Owen March 6,1959 in Granville Co, NC. Elizabeth was born Marh 5, 1938 in Granville Co, NC. Elizabeth was the daughter of Edward Duffie Owen and Minnie Ann Satterwhite. Elizabeth died December 15, 2003 in Boydton, Mecklenburg Co, VA.

22939 ii. Thomas Reddix Parrish was born in Granville Co, NC February 10,1960. Thomas died Decembe 15, 2015 in Mecklenberg Co., VA. OBIT Thomas Reddix “Tommy” Parrish , passed away December 23, 2015 at the age of 55. He has earned his wings of many colors that he talked about so much and has been reunited in heaven with his Mom and Pop. He was born on February 10, 1960 to the late Rufus Reddix Parrish, Jr. and the late Ann Owen Parrish. He was born in Granville County, NC and was reared in Boydton, VA and was a graduate of Bluestone High School in 1981. Thomas was a member of Boydton Baptist Church where he gave his life to God on November 9, 1975. He was a caring, giving man always looking out for others, putting himself last to put a smile on someone else’s face. Thomas worked in construction most recently with Starr Electric at the Microsoft Construction site. He also worked part-time with Roses Dept. Store in South Hill, VA. He is survived by his brother, Mark Parrish and wife, Crystal of Boydton; devoted sister Deborah Hendrick of Skipwith; nieces, Chelle Dunn and husband Brad of Drakes Branch; Elizabeth Carter and friend Roque Ramirez of Buffalo Junction and Ashley Parrish of Boydton; and a great niece, Marcie and great nephew Javier of Buffalo Junction. He was preceded in death by his parents Rufus and Ann Parrish. Graveside services will be Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Boydton Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, December 26, 2015 from 7:00 till 8:30 PM at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home and at other times at the home of his brother, Mark Parrish.
