Emily died July 24, 2016. OBIT: Emily “Sue” Thompson Moseley, 77, of Wise, died Sunday, July 24, at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 27 at Jerusalem United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Moseley was a member of Jerusalem United Methodist Church and she retired from Norlina MFG. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Virginia Worley Thompson; her husband, Jimmy R. Moseley and her son, Jimmy “Buck” Moseley, Jr. She is survived by one daughter, Mildred Moseley Avalos (Javier); one son, Michael Eugene Moseley; four brothers, Richard Thompson, Jr., Jack D. Thompson, William “Sonny” H. Thompson (Tommie) and Alvin Curtis Thompson (Joanne); one sister, Lois T. Green; two grandchildren, Javier Avalos, Jr. and Christian Miguel Avalos.

She married Jimmy Rogers Moseley May 18, 1959 in Warren Co., NC. Jimmy was born March 14, 1939. Jimmy was the son of Macon G Moseley and Lottie Felts. Jimmy died April 1, 2004.

Emily Sue Thompson and Jimmy Rogers Moseley had the following children:

 39199 ii. Mildred Ann Moseley (living).

 39200 iii. Jimmy (Buck) Rogers Moseley JR was born in Warrenton, Warren Co., NC January 23, 1963. Jimmy died December 15,1993 in Brunswic, VA.
