Thelma died March 7, 2010 in Elkhart, Elkhart Co., IN. OBIT: Thelma C. Luefling 91 of Elkhart Indiana died at 12:00 A.M. Monday at Eastlake Nursing and Rehablitation Center in Elkhart. She was born April 16, 1918 in Middlebury, Indiana to David E and Elizabeth A. Troyer Yoder. She married Walter E. Luefling Sr. May 16, 1953 in Goshen, Indiana, he died in 1999. Also surviving is two sons Donald Marsha Luefling of Three Rivers, MI; Eric Florence Luefling of South Bend, IN; Daughter Phyllis Young of Niles, MI; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. A son Leonard Luefling, three brothers Alvin, Raymond and Harold Yoder preceded in death. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Women's Association, Ruth Circle and the Quiet Ministry. Friends may call from 5 to 7 P.M. on Thursday at the Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. on Friday at the First Presbyterian Church in Elkhart with entombment in Chapel of Memories in Rice Cemetery.

She married Walter E Luefling May 16, 1953 in Goshen, Elkhart Co., IN. Walter was born August 6,1909 in Sedalia, Pettis Co., MO. Walter was the son of Bruno Luefling and Etta Tibbins. Walter died October 27, 1999 in Elkhart, Elkhart Co., IN.
