William died May 18, 2008 in Henderson Co., KY. OBIT: William Shelby Bugg, 82, Reed, passed away at 9:35 a.m. Sunday, May 18, 2008, at Methodist Hospital.
He worked at International Steel for 17 years and Evansville Sheet Metal Company for 20 years. He also was a farmer and a member of the Beals Pentecostal Church. He loved his wife and family very much. He also loved gospel singings.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David Minus Bugg and Zella Bruner Bugg; one sister, Agatha Chaney, who died in 2007; and one grandson, Jace Bugg, who died in 2003.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Leola Bugg of Reed; one daughter, Carolyn Leola Stopha of Tampa; five sons, James M. Bugg and Shelby E. Bugg of Henderson, Wayne Bugg of Robards, Aud Edwin Bugg of Madisonville and William R. Bugg of Jacksonville, Fla.; 23 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The Rev. Ralph Chaney will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery in Reed.
He married Leola (___) 1951. Leola was born September 5, 1924.
