John C.¹⁰ Lindley (Mary May⁹ Shuler, Anna Barbara⁸ Allgood, George W.⁷, Spencer⁶, Edward⁵, William⁴ Algood, Edward³ Allgood, William², Edward¹ Algood) was born in Fountain Co., IN August 3,1933. John died April 11,2006 in Crawfordsville, Montgomery Co., IN. OBIT: John C. ‘Jack' Lindley, 72, Crawfordsville, died 2:50 a.m. Tuesday in St. Clare Medical Center.

Mr. Lindley owned Lindley Real Estate and Lindley-Johnson Insurance Company for more than 30 years before retiring in 1991. He was a veteran of the Korean War. His memberships included life membership to the Elks, VFW, American Legion Post 72 and Eagles Aerie 1005.

He was born Aug. 3, 1933, at Fountain County, to George and Mary Shular Lindley. He graduated from Veedersburg High School and earned an associates degree at Indiana University. On April 12, 1991, he married Kathy Walke at Las Vegas, Nev. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Michael Lindley, Nashville, Tenn.; two daughters, Beth (Mohamed) Elrefai, Leesburg, Va., Susan Holum, Sturvetant, Wis.; two stepsons, Ryan Walke, Crawfordsville, Ric Walke, Waynetown; one sister, Barbara Webster, Orange County, Calif.; and 15 grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled 10 a.m. Saturday in Powers-Priebe Funeral Home with Rev. Velma Keesling officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, Wayntown.

John C. Lindley had the following children:
