Donald died February 16, 2008 in Indianapolis, Marion Co., IN. OBIT: Donald E. Parish 83, Indianapolis, died February 16, 2008. He was born to the late Fred and Beulah Parish on June 12, 1924. Don put in nine years of service with the United States Coast Guard and the United States Navy. He retired as a Captain for the Indianapolis Fire Department after 20 years. He then retired from Ford Motor Company. Don was a member of Old Bethel United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge #694 in Beech Grove. He is survived by his wife, Juanita; a son, Fred (Linda) Parish; a daughter, Barbara (Bob) Wilson; a brother, Ernest Parish; sisters, Ellen Chaney and Norma Wild; eight grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Noon at Legacy Funeral Center, where friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery
He married Edith Juanita Walton April 17, 1998 in Indianapolis, Marion Co., IN. Edith was born October 17, 1926 in MI. Edith is the daughter of Homer Walton and Mattie (____).
