Howard Dean¹¹ Pettet (Hussten Thomas¹⁰, James Thomas⁹, Margaret Ann⁸ Greathouse, Sarah Ann (Anney)⁷ Allgood, Peter⁶, William (Pikey) Henry⁵, William John⁴, Edward³, William², Edward¹ Algood) was born in Lebanon, Laclede Co., MO Februaryh 28,1928. Howard died December 20, 2004 in Lufkin, Angelina Co., TX. OBIT: Graveside services for Howard Dean Pettet, 76, of Hudson, were held Thursday, Dec. 23,2004, in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mr. Pettet was born Feb. 28, 1928 in Lebanon, Mo., to Husten Thomas and Ruby Lois (Duncan) Pettet, and died Monday, Dec. 20, 2004 in a Lufkin hospital. He had resided in the Lufkin area for the past 34 years. He served in the U. S. Navy Seabees from January 1946 to November 1947. He retired from Lufkin Industries after 10 years of service as a machinist. He enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing.

Survivors: wife, Laura Lou Pettet of Hudson; sons and daughters-in-law, Howard Dean, Jr. and Debbie Pettet of Springfield, Oregon, and Timothy Joe and Sheryle Pettet of Ridgeway, Colorado; stepson and wife, Ronnnie Ray and Ella Thompson of Kansas City, Missouri; stepdaughter, Pamela Jean Shatto of Lufkin; stepdaughters and husbands, Pam and Sam Quigley of Springfield, Oregon, and Sandy and Oren Pontler of Eugene, Oregon; five grandchildren; brothers, Wayne Pettet of Kansas City, Mo., H. T. Pettete of Geen Valley, Arizona, Don Pettet of Tuscon, Arizona and Charlie Pettet of Dike; sister, Judy Barries of Kansas City, Mo; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Pettet was preceded in deah by his parents.

He married twice. He married Jeannie (__) June 21, 1955. Jeannie was born 1926.

Howard Dean Pettet and Jeannie (__) had the following children:
