John died February 5, 2004 in Gainsville, Cooke Co., TX. OBIT: Services for John W. Ramsey, 58, of Woodbine, are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Patterson and the Rev. David Hart officiating. Burial will follow in Nelson Grove Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville. Mr. Ramsey died Feb. 5, 2003, at Gainesville Memorial Hospital. He was born July 5, 1944, in Bonham to Roy Melvin and Cecil Mae Carpenter Ramsey. He attended Callisburg High School. On Nov. 6, 1964, he married Nita Wilson in Gainesville. He had been employed at Weber Aircraft for 34 years. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church of Whitesboro.
