She married Silas Franklin Gillispie March 31, 1961 in Richmond, Henrico Co., VA. Silas was born July 2,1922 in Roxboro, Person Co., NC. Silas was the son of John T Gillispie and Mattie J Drinion. Silas died October 8, 2005 in Richmond, Richmond Co., VA.

Virginia Sarah Lassiter and Robert Thomas Stokes had the following children:
