Audrey died March 17, 2007 in Paducah, McCracken Co, KY. Obit: Audrey Mae Algood, 81, of Tchula, died March 17, 2007 at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky. She had been a resident of Paducah for the past six months and formerly lived in Greenwood and Clarksdale. She was the widow of Arthur Ryals and they were married 50 years. She was born in Zama, April 6, 1925. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Earleen (Ford) Algood and by two sisters, Sybil Sims and Dorothy Montague and one brother, James Allgood. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 21, at 11 a.m. at Doty Springs Baptist Church near Ethel with Rev. Don Ray officiating. Burial will be in Doty Springs Cemetery with Jordan Funeral Home in charge. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 20, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home and at the church from 10 a.m. until service time. She was a member of Horseshoe Baptist Church in Tchula and Lone Oak Church of Christ in Paducah. She is survived by two daughters, Gail Self of Cruger and Peggy Greenlee of Paducah; son James Ryals of San Antonio, Texas; sister, Gladys Burchfield of McCarley; two brothers, Clifford Algood of McCool and Jerry Allgood of Robinsonville; six grandchildren, Melanie Greenlee Spedale, Debbie Greenlee Pryor, Toni Ryals Rose, Teri Ryals Damore, James A. Ryals Jr., Stevi Self Woolworth. She also leaves 10 great-grandchildren, Samantha Spedale, Emily Spedale, Chelsea Pryor, Tanner Sanders, Logan Rose, Ethan Damore, Sydney Damore, Riley Woolworth, Raina Woolworth and Jaden Woolworth. Pallbearers are Joey Alexander, Ramy Allgood, Gerald Allgood, Jerry Allgood, Clifford Algood, Jamie A. Ryals, David Woolworth, Tim Johnson and Tanner Sanders. Marvin Self is an honorary pallbearer. Memorials may be made to Doty Springs Cemetery fund or the Lone Oak Church of Christ Mission Fund in Paducah. C

She married Arthur Woodrow Ryals August 24, 1940 in Louisville, Winston Co, MS. Arthur was born 9 DEC 1920 in Blytheville, Mississippi Co., AR. Arthur was the son of James Ryals and Victoria Pace. Arthur died 4 APR 1990 in Paducah, McCracken Co, KY. His body was interred at Doty Springs Cemetery in Attala Co., MS.
