She married Maynard Lee Berry. Maynard was born April 4, 1918 in Cleburne Co., AL. Maynard was the son of (_____) Berry and Annie F. (_____). Maynard died February 14, 2007 in Atlanta, Fulton Co., GA. Obit: Maynard L. Berry, 88, of Atlanta died February 14, 2007. Mr. Berry served in the U. S. Navy with the rank of Lt. Commander and was a veteran of WWII. He graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in electrical engineering "Class of 1940" and went on to illuminate Atlanta with his partners in the company of Brooks-Berry-Haynie & Associates. Mr. Berry was preceded in death by his son, Michael West Berry and wife, Aileen Berry. Surviving are his loving wife, Jill Berry; daughter and son-in-law, Jade and Ralph Sykes; grandchildren, Sam and Joe Sykes; and nephew, Larry Berry. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 19th at two o'clock at Oglethorpe Hill Chapel with Reverend William Schotanus officiating. Entombment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. For those who prefer, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Georgia Tech Alumni Association's Roll Call, 190 North Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30313. Friends are invited to visit with the family Sunday afternoon from two until four o'clock at H. M. Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, 4550 Peachtree Rd., NE, Atlanta, GA 30319.
