Ella died July 8, 1995 in Memphis, Shelby Co., TN. OBIT: ELLA LOUISE BAKER , 58, of Memphis, retired nurse at Shelby County Hospital, died of heart failure Saturday at Baptist Memorial Hospital East. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Forest Hill Funeral Home East with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery East. She was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. Mrs. Baker, the widow of Herschel Biddle Baker Jr., leaves a son, Christopher Alan Baker; her parents, T. M. and Rozella Allgood, and a sister, Shirley Britton, all of Memphis, and a brother, Tommy Allgood Jr. of Kennett, Mo. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Heart Association or the Diabetes Foundation.

She married Herschel B. Baker JR in Memphis, Shelby Co, TN. Herschel was born September 22, 1944 in Magnolia, MO. Herschel was the son of Herschel B. Baker. Herschel died March 8, 1994 in Memphis, Shelby Co., TN. OBIT: HERSCHEL B. BAKER JR., 49, of Memphis, music supervisor for Lee County (Ark.) Schools, died of heart disease Tuesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Forest Hill Funeral Home East with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery East. He was a member of the Order of St. Luke association of church organists. Mr. Baker, the husband of Louise Baker, also leaves a son, Christopher Alan Baker of Memphis, and his father, Herschel B. Baker of Magnolia, Ark. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Good Shepherd United Methodist Church or the American Heart Association.
