Anita Lynn Allgood and Hunter M. Saunders had the following children:
50911 i. Jessie Wren11 Saunders was born in Carrollton, Carroll Co., GA July 23, 1992. Jessie died May 11, 2008. OBIT: Miss Jessi Wren Saunders, age 15, of Carrollton, Ga., passed away suddenly Sunday, May 11, 2008, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born July 23, 1992, in Carroll County, Georgia, the daughter of Anita L. Allgood Saunders and Hunter M. Saunders. Jessi was a sophomore at Central High School, where she was a two-year member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Pep Club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She was also a member of the Carroll County Precision Air Rifle team and a member of Old Camp United Methodist Church, where she was actively involved in the Youth Fellowship Group. Jessi also had a love for playing the piano; and water sports, such as water skiing; and riding dirt bikes. Also one of her true loves was spending time on her grandparents’ farm in Temple, helping with cattle, poultry and hay production. She very much enjoyed outdoor activities that included hunting and fishing with her father; brother; and grandfather, Vann Saunders.
She was preceded in death by her uncle, Trey Saunders.
Survivors include her parents, Hunter and Anita Saunders; brother, Hunter Jacob “Jake” Saunders; maternal grandparents, Donald and Martha Allgood of Temple; paternal grandparents, Vann and Martha Ann Saunders of Carrollton; aunts and uncles, Mandy and Bill Davis of Roopville, Dennis and Jodi Allgood of Bremen, and Pam and Jimmy Tolbert of Mt. Zion; and also cousins, Brandon and Sam Allgood and Misty and Sarah Davis.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 16, 2008, at 4 p.m. from Old Camp United Methodist Church with Rev. Geron Crawford and Mr. Josh Stitcher officiating. Music will be provided by Anna Miller and Old Camp UMC Praise Band. Pallbearers will be Kevin Ordoyne, Clay Smith, Burton Thomas, Dylan Thigpen, Alex Walker and Chase Alford. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to invite everyone to A Life Celebration in Memory of Jessi after the service at the barn of Linda and Dan Williamson’s farm, Horton Road, Carrollton, Ga.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 15, 2008, in the sanctuary of Old Camp United Methodist Church from 3:30 to 9 p.m.
